A regular wednesday

Yeeees, finally we have both the cats home! It has been so empty without them for five weeks, the only good thing about it was not having to change the litter box. Kalle helped me to get the heavy mirror where it should be and to plug in the washer so now I can finally do laundry here. I'm gonna do that after I have been to the grocery store.

Besides the store and laundry I think I will take out the vacuum cleaner, it feels like it's much needed. I feel like I always have to do that no matter how much I do it. It's non stop work with kids. Extra much when they are on a break from school.

As soon as J are finished in the shower it's my turn to get ready and then I need to think of something to eat and then go to the grocery store. For lunch we are having salad. I have craved it for a week so yesterday I decided that we are having that for lunch today. Maja will get Swedish hash because she doesn't like salad.

Oh God I'm so glad I don't have to use the laundry room anymore, it didn't go as planed yesterday. The last load of laundry was gonna take 49 minutes but took 1½ hour so I didn't have time to put it in the dryer. Insted I had to unpack the new rack to hang the clothes on and put it in the middle of the living room. How nice that in the future I can use my own washing machine. It's not plugged in yet but I'm thinking of doing it myself, it can't be that hard.

Now they have inspected everything, but I don't now how it went, he mostly walked around muttering to himself. I showed him where they broke the mirror when they put in the bath tub so I guess they'll have to change that. Not my problem.

Today me and J are gonna put everything back in the hallway, take everything out that's in the living room but are suposed to be in the hallway. So nice to get my living room back and all the furniture out of there. Then I think the cats are coming home today, I think Kalle said something about it. I hope so. In that case I have to fix the new litter box as well so it's ready for them to get home.

Only a few things left

The bath tub and the washing machine is in place. Now the handyman just needs to plug it in and then I can use it. But I still need to go to the laundry room today. I have no sheets left and need them for the kids beds later today. They are coming home after a weekend with their dad.

Besides that it will be a slow day. I need to do some grocery shopping and do the dishes. I got new silverware this saturday so I need to wash them. Yes, I am one of those that washes everything new I get for the kitchen, you never know how many hands that have been there.

I think I will spend a good amount of time on the couch with my feet up as well. But days like that kan be nice, or so they say. I become bored and try to think of little projects to do. I guess I can fix things in the bathroom and unpack everything there and fix the new littler box for tomorrow. If everything is ok then the cats are coming home. 

Is it Valentines day?

Waking up at 9.30 am was not my plan for today, I was thinking about sleeping until at least 11 am. But we stayed in bed and cuddled and fell in an out of sleep.

Last night it was just me. J was home and watched the Swedish song contest so I was in bed watching my tv shows. It's a few that has started again after the season break. So there I was having a good time waiting for him. He came shortly before 10.30 pm. Then it was even more tv shows and some cuddling.

I managed to book the laundry room until monday as well. The laundry basket is more than full. Oh God how I miss my washing machine. Almost more than I miss my shower. To be able to do laundry when I feel like it and not when the laundry room is available.

We went home to Kalle and said hi to the cats. How I miss them! But only one more week and then they are coming home again. Then when we got home Kalle came with us but I was a bad hostess and fell aslepp on the couch haha.

Today will be a slow day. I need to go grocery shopping as usual, today we will be having salmon for dinner. I hope, if they have any. Or else I have to improvise.

I guess it's Valentines day today. I'm not much for this day. At most we have Valentines day cookies so I guess we will have that today as well. Me and J arent gonna do anything today because he haven't said a word about it.

Time for a birthday party

Ooooh, yesterday I got to meet the cats again. So great. When Kalle came over he had forgotten the router so we went back home to him to get it and I got to cuddle with the cats. How I wanted to take them home. But only two weeks lef and then they are coming home again.

Last night I was home alone, a strange feeling. I'm used to either the munchkins are home or J is here. But J was at home watching some tv show with his family and came later that night. So I was in bed watching some tv shows, it wasn't that bad. I took a nap when I was watching Bones. I used to watch that show when I was gonna sleep so now that I watched it I got tired right away. 

Today I'm going home to my dad to celebrate his birthday. I'm taking the bus that goes 1:51 pm, we are gonna be there at 2 pm so I will be just on time. I'm guessing I will be there for a few hours before it's time to go home again. I need to check when the bus home leaves as well. They don't go that often on sundays and I don't wanna stand there and wait for an eternity.

Hopefully today

There was a change of plans last night. J didn't go out last night so we spent the night in bed watching tv shows and cuddling. It was around 1.30 am before we finally went to sleep.

Now the munchkins are away, they went to Kalle to see the cats. I would have loved to come because I miss them but I got stuff to do. I need to do the dishes (bleh!), try and pick up everything that is out of place here and go grocery shopping with J before he leaves. But he'll come back later, lucky me.

Kalle is gonna drop of the kids later and then we will hopefully be able to use the dishwasher, if the nozzle fits. I´m so tired of doing the dishes by hand. It will be great to have my dishwasher back even if it's ugly as hell.

Now I need to get going so I get something done. J keeps asking when we are going to the grocery store.

Now it's happening

So now the weekend is over and the alarm goes of at 7 am again. Bleh!

Today the renovation in the bathroom and the toilet. Five weeks we have to look forward to. They have already been here and looked and soon they will come to put in the temporary floor in the hallway.

Usually I get back in bed after the munchkins and J has left but that's not happening today. It's gonna be a lot of noice when they tear down the bathroom so I don't know what I´m gonna do. Besides going to the yard next to mine to have a shower. Yes, it's over there they have put up showers and bathrooms. Eventually they will put up showers and bathrooms on our yard too.

Yesterday Kalle was here and helped me with the hallway. Omg, we worked really hard. After I was so tired that I could have gone to bed when the munchkins did. But me and J got in bed at a reasonable time for once. Kalle also took the cats with him so now it feels so empty at  home.
